Hello and Welcome

I've been doing various things online for over 7 years now, and through that time have seen my fair share of ups and downs.

My ultimate desire was always to make some money from internet based ventures, but always found it hard to maintain. If you can relate to what I mean I hope you will like what I plan on covering in this blog.

My typical cycle would be a couple of months to get a new venture off the ground, followed by 6 to 12 months of reasonable succes, then nothing. Which ultimately meant "back to the drawing board".

This had been the regular cycle up until summer last year (2006) when something finally clicked inside me (with a little "help" from a personal mentor).

The problem, it seemed, was not with my businesses, but more to do with me. Or at least that's what I was being told.

Naturally, that didn't go down too well to start with, but over the following months, it really started to sink in the more I thought about it.

The one major obstacle holding me back was...... ME!

To cut a long story short, I've since changed my life considerably over the last 8 months (which has had nothing to do with the business processes I was using), and can honestly say it is making a big difference in my life.

What I hope to share with you in my blog is the thought processes I have been through, and how important they are to our success.

One thing I would like to share right away is a DVD that had a big impact on my overall outlook on life - The Secret. You've probably already heard of it, as it's been "doing the rounds" for several months now. I found out about it in early 2006, but never actually watched it till summer 06 - and wished I'd watched it as soon as I'd got hold of it.

I can't recommend it enough. Have a look over at The Secret - you can either buy the DVD (about $30 US I think) or pay $5 to watch it online. Personally I'd recommend buying your own copy, as you'll want to watch it over and over again - it's that good.

Anyway - that's it for now - please feel free to add your comments to my blog as I'd love to hear (read) your thoughts.

Mike
